Crostini – A How to Guide

Crostini is made from typical Tuscan bread. It’s eaten with different sauces such as chicken liver sauce (a typical one). You can eat it with whatever you prefer – tomatoes, prosciutto, etc.. it’s usually served as an antipasto or starter.

INGREDIENTS

1 baguette, sliced
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (Olivaio)
Kosher salt
Fresh pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Arrange baguette slices on two large rimmed baking sheets; brush both slides with oil and season with salt and pepper
  3. Bake, rotating sheets halfway through until golden, about 15-20 min
