Crostini is made from typical Tuscan bread. It’s eaten with different sauces such as chicken liver sauce (a typical one). You can eat it with whatever you prefer – tomatoes, prosciutto, etc.. it’s usually served as an antipasto or starter.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 baguette, sliced
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (Olivaio)
- Kosher salt
- Fresh pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Arrange baguette slices on two large rimmed baking sheets; brush both slides with oil and season with salt and pepper
- Bake, rotating sheets halfway through until golden, about 15-20 min
