Hummus is a great dip and spread to have on hand. It's vegetarian, high in protein and fiber, and versatile. It also takes just 5 minutes to make. Here's our take on the classic dip.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can garbanzo beans, rinsed
- 1 large garlic clove
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil (Olivaio) + more for garnishing
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh water
- Kosher salt
- Paprika (optional)
- Parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth; serve with extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and a pinch of paprika and chopped parsley
